The goal is to streamline the process of seeking safety and justice for survivors of domestic violence. Prosecutors, family law attorneys and social workers will all come together under one roof to provide women, men and children fleeing domestic abuse with whatever help and support they need.

Despite numerous goverment programs such as this one, domestic violence remains a widespread problem. Six million American women are murdered each year by their husbands or boyfriends - and 70% of children living in homes where one parent is abused, are abused themselves.
