American tennis superstar Chris Evert and Austrailian golf prodigy Greg Norman have separated after 15 months of marriage.

The couple asked for privacy for themselves and family in a statement released Friday. “We will remain friends and supportive of one another’s family.” Said the couple.

Norman and Evert married in the Bahamas in June 2008. Evert has three teenage sons from a previous marriage to Olympic skier Andy Mill. Norman has two children from his first marriage.
